It’s true – the number one sexual complaint among women is low sexual desire. There are many reasons why women suffer from low sexual desire, including body image, hormonal shifts, social messages, lack of adequate seduction from their partners or past experiences of sexual abuse.
Many women come to our office feeling shame about their lack of desire, and have been categorized as “low desire” women by their therapists, doctors and their partners. Because women are taught that sex is not for them, they expect their partner to know how to arouse and seduce them. Couples that expect sex to “just happen” spontaneously are very likely to end up with the belief that the woman is “low desire” while, in reality, good seduction that gives a woman her Hottest Sexual Movie often solves the low desire problem.
While it is important for men to know how to seduce their partners, to truly own your sexuality means identifying what’s holding you back from feeling alive, sexy and turned on. Once we have helped you identify all of the different aspects that are blocking your desire, it is time to find out what’s on the menu and ask for it, to feel good about your body and take care of yourself and, it may also mean requesting in a loving way that your partner do some work on their own sexual approach and techniques. Through this work, you can reclaim this part of yourself and your relationship – a part that is vital to your personal well-being and emotional connection with your partner.
